Miniature Horses for hire in Lincolnshire

Welcome to an exciting experience for all ages. Walk My Little Horse is a family business set in rural Lincolnshire. We own a 200 year old farmhouse with an adjoining B&B The Stable Annexe. We have built our own stables, grooming bays and converted our garden into three small paddocks amidst a waterfall, ponds, bijou fruit orchard and woodland paradise.  I, Teresa Leonora am a qualified Montessori Teacher and have also been both a primary and secondary school teacher, so I am confident and experienced with children of all ages. I have endeavoured to create my childhood lifestyle of horses, nature and freedom. Here is what we have to offer you:

Miniature horse parties

We can bring our horses to your child’s Birthday Party and the children can walk, groom or bling our adorable miniature horses. Why not bring the party to us at our home, Salisbury House near RAF Coningsby. Our packages are bespoke but the prices are extremely reasonable as we are establishing ourselves as a viable entertainment service. We now offer catering for adults and children, plus a gift bag service.

Training sessions

Your child/children can learn how to care for horses including groom, cuddle, feed or take them for walks in our open countryside. They may train towards achieving certificates, rosettes and more. A typical session would cost around £15. We offer a discount for siblings and free sessions for loyal customers. Simply complete a form on our Contact tab.

Come stay at our stable annex and add a one-to-one horse experience where you can groom, cuddle, decorate and walk our trusty steed, Warrior - he does tricks too!

Equine Therapy

Horses make great companions because they can mirror and respond to human behaviour  and crucially, there’s no judgment with a horse. Equine therapy lowers your blood pressure and heart rate, alleviates stress and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression.  There are several life skills that horses teach better than a person. This is the primary benefit of using equine therapy with individuals facing mental illness. Prices are from £25.

'Stunning'

Had a visit here, was blown away by the calm and serenity of the place. We were spoilt by Teresa, and her infectious love for the place. The horses were fantastic, they were calm and inquisitive, and will come for cuddles. Feed them and they are your best friends, just don't leave your coffee as the horse likes coffee. Teresa has created a lovely calm place. and the horses add to the atmosphere. The cream teas were lovely and tasty. I would well recommend Walk my little Horse. and ideal for children.

'A wonderful experience'

We had a fabulous time at Walk My Little Horse. Teresa's enthusiasm is infectious. The horses are obviously loved and well looked after. They were approachable and very good natured. We went there to photograph the horses and the two horses weren't shy, but also not pushy which is what you want if your children visit. All in all a great experience with a friendly and very welcoming host, looking after two beautiful small horses in an excellent environment. Kudos to Teresa for such a wonderful endeavour.
