Miniature Horses for Hire in Lincolnshire
Welcome to a brand new experience for all ages. Walk My Little Horse is our small family business set in rural Lincolnshire. We own a 200 year old farmhouse with an adjoining horse training centre in the making. We have built our own stables, grooming bays and converted our garden into three small paddocks amidst a waterfall, ponds, bijou fruit orchard and woodland paradise. We are husband and wife, childhood sweethearts and have four grown up, independent children and a young son. I am a qualified Montessori Teacher and have also been a primary and secondary school teacher so I am confident and experienced with children of all ages. My husband and I have endeavoured to create my childhood lifestyle of horses, nature and freedom. Here is what we have to offer you:
Miniature Horse Parties
We can bring our horses to your child’s Birthday Party and the children can walk, groom or bling our adorable miniature horses. Or you can bring the party to us at our home, Salisbury House near RAF Coningsby. Our packages are bespoke but the prices are extremely reasonable as we are establishing ourselves as a viable entertainment service.
Training Sessions
Your child/children can learn how to care for horses including groom, cuddle, play with or take them for walks in our open countryside. They can train towards achieving certificates, rosettes and more. A typical session would cost around £15. We offer a discount for siblings and free sessions for loyal customers.
Summer Fetes and Year Round Fayres
We can travel around visiting your school or favourite shows with our stunning miniature horses and delight children and adults of all ages. Contact us for our affordable prices.
Equine Therapy
Horses make great companions because they can mirror and respond to human behaviour and crucially, there’s no judgment with a horse. Equine therapy lowers your blood pressure and heart rate, alleviates stress and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression. There are several life skills that horses teach better than a person. This is the primary benefit of using equine therapy with individuals facing mental illness.
